Market Street tower

• Gantry removal works at the corner of Market Street and Collins Street are underway, with the final section in front of the Market Street tower expected to be removed in mid to late September 2024, weather permitting.
• Gantry removal works will occur on Saturdays from 7am to 5pm, with road and footpath closures on Market Street and Collins Street to facilitate the works.
• The gantry above the Collins Arch centre court will remain upstanding for the William Street tower works.
• The hoarding removal on Market Street has reopened the Market Street Park. Temporary fencing will remain until Q4 2024 to protect the newly laid turf and aid establishment.
• Cleaning of the bluestone paving is in progress. Previously removed trees will be replanted in accordance with the council's tree planting program. Grass and plants will be maintained by the City of Melbourne.

William Street tower

• Mast climber installation works on the Collins Street facade are now complete.
• Over-clad installation works on the William Street tower are forecast to commence in mid-September 2024.
• Traffic management will continue to facilitate material deliveries for the completion of works.
