Market Street tower

• All mast climbers have been removed from the Market Street tower. The over-clad works are now complete on the Market Street facade. Over-clad works on the upper levels of the Collins Street facade will continue on weekdays between 8am to 5pm through to Q3 2024.
• The Market Street gantry has now been removed. The Collins Street gantry (in front of the Market Street tower) will remain upstanding until completion of the Market Street tower works.
• The first portion of the Market Street Park (closest to Flinders Lane) reopened in December 2023. The Market Street hoarding will continue to be dismantled in stages as works progress, enabling the Market Street Park to reopen progressively in the coming months.

William Street tower

• In the interest of public protection, installation of the William Street gantry commenced on 17 February 2024.
• Gantry installation works will continue on weekends from 7am to 5pm, starting from the Flinders Lane and William Street corner. The gantry will progressively be installed along William Street through to Collins Street. Road and footpath closures will be in place to facilitate the works during this time.
• Traffic management will continue as material deliveries are received to complete the works.

*For traffic and pedestrian safety, signage and traffic controllers will be in place during any temporary footpath and/or road closures required for the above-mentioned works.
